CLUBS SUPPORT PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT TO HQSL IN 2011
Queensland’s premier football competition is set for a revamp with the introduction of two new teams next year, with the move falling in line with Football Federation Australia’s plans to boost Football nationally.
Football Queensland has received letters of intent from numerous clubs within the south-east corner, and whilst the decision making will take time the existing HQSL franchises have offered their support to the bids.
ROUND 18 Preview
Round 17 results saw predictable wins to the top two teams and a draw between third and fourth, leaving the door slightly open for a late change in the composition of the final four of the 2010 Hyundai Queensland State League. Two matches on Saturday and another two on Sunday make up Round 18 of fixtures and there are some very interesting match ups that will be eagerly awaited by players and supporters alike.
