INSPIRATIONAL captain Brett Kitching will be one of just four survivors in the squad from Bundaberg Toyota Spirit’s disastrous last campaign when they kick off the new Hyundai Queensland State League season against North Queensland Razorbacks at home this Saturday night.

Sadler To Miss Bulls Homecoming
Former Far North Queensland Bulls player Rylan Sadler looks likely to miss out on the opportunity to wear the colours of the Brisbane Strikers against his old club this Saturday, with injury keeping him out of the squad to travel to Mareeba for a pre-season friendly.

Brisbane Strikers coach Stuart McLaren said today that the fullback, who played the first half against the Capricorn Cougars in the 3-3 draw last Friday, had picked up a slight hamstring strain and the weekend would “arrive too soon” for Sadler, who had been keen to return home for the game.
