This weekend sees two knockout QSL semi-finals being played as the premiers, Brisbane Strikers, host the fourth-placed Whitsunday Miners and the second-placed North Queensland Bulls face off against third-placed Sunshine Coast Fire.  The winners go through to next weekend’s Grand Final.  With the QSL being replaced by the Queensland Division of the Australian Premier League (APL) next year, the finals series will offer a sneak preview of the APL as the Strikers, Bulls and Fire were all successful with their applications for a licence in the new competition.
